Hi, I'm Vanessa Cendales, and I live in Cali. I'm 37 years old and hold a degree in graphic design from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, which I completed in 2008. For over 12 years, I have been working in the field of design and layout, primarily focused on web languages.
My journey began as a Flash animator, specializing in multimedia and animation production. As part of the design process, I gradually became more involved with coding (specifically, ActionScript 2-3). However, when Flash was phased out of the market, I transitioned to more code-based languages. This shift required me to learn various tools, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including React and Vue), and PHP, in order to bring my designs to life on screen. I also integrated version control with repositories like Git.
what make me special? I have a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for delivering practical, effective design and layout solutions.
Throughout my career as a designer, I have had the opportunity to work in user experience teams, assuming roles as both a product designer and developer. I strongly believe in taking designs to the next level and constantly seeking ways to improve not only the product itself but also the overall user experience and motivation.
An important part of my work experience is Wordpress, since I have been a developer in that field for more than 8 years, alternating from template design to plugin creation, REST Api, queries and database optimization.
